After a one-year hiatus, the FARA Miami 500 returned to Homestead-Miami Speedway a few weeks ago. The competition was once again fierce, featuring cars ranging from Honda Civics and Mini Coopers to Porsche GT3 Cup cars and Trans-Am TA Corvettes. This year's race also featured the debut of the FARA Porsche Challenge, a one-hour race with a required 5-minute pit stop in which only Porsche GT3 Cup cars are eligible. The fans packed the infield at Homestead as usual, and were treated to perfect South Florida weather. Photos and prints from this year's FARA Miami 500 can be purchased in the race's gallery.
